BOOK DESCRIPTION

There's no question that our political system has become corrupt and politicians -- on both sides of the aisle -- are voting in favor of the special interests that donated to them instead of the citizens who elected them.

They have all contributed to the abandonment of the Common Sense Conservative principles upon which our country was founded and under which we have prospered.

Don't Take My Lemonade Stand: An American Philosophy is the book that tells where we came from, how out-of-control, big government/big spending policies are driving us to ruin, and exactly what we the people can do to take back our country right here, right now, and get it back on course to peace, prosperity, and opportunity.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Janie Johnson is an American citizen. She is not a pundit, politician, political scientist, constitutional lawyer, political activist, or historian - nor does she need to be.

She is an informed voter who cares deeply about our country and its founding principles. Her brand of Common Sense Conservatism focuses on children, patriotism, and optimism.
The youngest of nine children, Janie is a graduate of UCLA and was a professional tennis player before she began her family. She has devoted herself to raising her four children and believes that everyday people can and must make a difference in our country.

Janie lives in northern Nevada with her husband and their boys.
